At 12:15pm tonight, 6 shots rang out on the 1300 Block of 5th Street NW. I called 911 and the first police arrived within 3-5 minutes, followed by fire trucks and one, then another, ambulance at the 2nd NW Coop. I don't have any more details as the block was taped off, but after about 20 minutes, the two ambulance left, sirens on, with police escort. It had been relatively quiet in Shaw for the past few months.
